2 down 1 to go!

How to kill a mockingbird Cold

In my previous post, we discovered my little chunquette had developed a cold and i was having a major brain fart as to how to 'treat' her. Have no fear Evelyn is here and she has caught Luna's ugly. BUT,now i know what to do :P

Thursday night Evelyn had been delightfully hacking in her sleep, and upon all that coughing she was making several bathroom trips for an ever crusty but blocked/ gooey nose  :"( I get up to check her and woah and behold there's that nasty cold accompanied by a fever.  As tired as i already was, i helped wash her face and and rub Aquaphor around her nose and sent her on her merry way, "i'll deal with this in the morning".  Great parenting right! *sigh

As soon as she wakes we begin the regimen. I  immediately mince one clove of garlic  and place it on a  teaspoon covered in raw honey. The next teaspoon is covered in Elderberry, The next teaspoon is Organic Virgin Coconut oil topped off with D3. I repeat this regimen in the mornings and continue the Elderberry and Raw Honey throughout the day with tea. She also took a nice hot bathe in Epsom salt & Lavender as well as a basic Probiotic in her juice.
Happy to say just a little over 24 hrs later shes feeling better and her fever has left the building :) !!! She was only up twice last night, and one of those times was to blow her nose, her coughing is cut in half and she feels better already

I have already taken precautionary measures in hopes that Omri does not jump on the sick train. She is doing the Elderberry and Organic Coconut Oil, and D3. Here's to hoping were done with this mess!!!!!
